He serves on the Committee for Brisbane’s Transport, Logistics, and Mobility Sub-Committee, contributing to strategic discussions shaping the future connectivity of South-East Queensland.
Before joining SEC Newgate, Max played a pivotal role in the rebuild of commercial talkback radio in Brisbane, spearheading local broadcasting and programming for Australia’s largest media company. Under his leadership, the station achieved its best results in well over a decade.
Max previously worked in Sydney and Adelaide, where he built broadcasting teams and collaborated with some of Australia’s top media talent. He also contributed significantly to the national sports coverage for a major rights broadcaster.
Max holds a Bachelor of Media and Communication from Queensland University of Technology.
